Urban Gardening Stokvel 

Is an Agricultural Stokvel that is used by its members to provide sustainable food sources for their families and the community at large. he UGS is perceived as a significant poverty alleviation and social advancement self-help strategy for its members. The UGS is also a means to generate income for Households and Old age homes. We seek to implement the possibility of using the UGS for Entrepreneurial purposes to improve the level of food security, alleviate unemployment and increase the household income and wealth of various families in South Arica. This is a vision highly dependent on home-owners, stokvel members and volunteering society who are prepared to take business and financial risks for the survival of their families and the stokvel in general.
